He was unique, singular, one of a kind.
His sharp wit and humor, His quickness of mind.
He was His own person, never followed the crowd.
He taught us to be ourselves and be proud.
He taught us so much about life, love and giving;
That in our hearts we can tell He’s still living.
He’s beside us in sadness, till sorrow was gone.
He didn't’ linger over worry and strife.
What mattered most to His was to enjoy life.
He loved His home, His family and friends.
We feel in our hearts that His love never ends.
He left us in body but I feel He’s still here,
Reflecting all of those He held dear.
His sparkle, His zest, the twinkle in His eye,
Are what we'll have with us as the years go by.
There will never be another  Phillip, it’s true
But He’s living now in the hearts of me and you.
